New T-Mobile Credit Card
T-Mobile launched a new Visa card, issued by Capital One, as rumored in our prior post. The card runs on the Visa Signature network and is currently available only through the T Life app.
Applications are limited to existing T-Mobile consumer postpaid customers with at least one active line. Business, government, and prepaid accounts are not eligible.
There is no signup bonus on the card.
For a limited time, T-Mobile Visa cardholders can save 25 cents off per gallon on Tuesdays through December 23, 2025 (up to 20 gallons).

Card Earnings
- 5% back in T-Mobile Rewards on T-Mobile purchases (phones, devices, accessories)
- 2% on T-Mobile phone bill
- 2% back on all other purchases
Rewards can only be redeemed toward your T-Mobile bill or for devices and accessories purchased through T-Mobile.
Card Details
- No annual fee
- No foreign transaction fees
- Cardholders also pay with the card and get $5 off per line per month (up to 8 lines) when enrolled in AutoPay.
- Visa Signature travel and emergency benefits
- Dining and travel discounts through T-Mobile Dining Rewards and T-Mobile Travel
Our Verdict
A 2% card with a limited T-Mobile redemption option isn’t especially newsworthy.
Still, it’s a no-fee card with no foreign transaction fee, it gets you 5% back on T-Mobile purchases and payments, and gives you the $5-per-line Autopay discount while paying with a credit card and earning 2% on the payment. (Typically credit card payments don’t get the autopay discount.)
Note: if you are currently getting the $5 autopay discount (by paying with a bank or debit card) then you won’t get another $5 discount with the new T-Mobile credit card. Basically, this is just a way to get 2% back on your phone bill payments (plus credit card protections), not really a new $5 bonus.
