The Untuckit code seems to be the same for everyone; I guess anyone can use it.
I got a lifetime shoprunner membership from Amex when I applied for one of their credit cards several years ago. However the service has some hard limitations. I have only been able to use it a few times due to those limitations.
1. Only certain vendors offer shoprunner at checkout.
2. Only certain items qualify for shoprunner free shipping not the entire cart.
3. The item you are going to buy must be of a specific minimum cost in order to qualify for free shipping.
4. You can only pay using the credit card from the issuer who gave you the subscription.
These limitations may not apply to all shop runner offers but they do with the lifetime Amex subscription.
Have had ShopRunner membership for many years (also free through) AMEX, but haven’t used it in at least the past 2-3 years (due to Newegg seemingly no longer participating in ShopRunner, which is where I most took advantage of the program).
Regarding limitation #4 (i.e. having to use the credit card from the issuer who gave you the ShopSafe subscription), I *never* charged my purchases to AMEX. I would typically use a virtual CC (such as BofA ShopSafe, before that program ended, Citi VAN, etc.) which were VISA generated VCC’s. To activate my ShopSafe benefit, during order checkout I would need to login to ShopSafe through a link at the merchant which usually appeared at some point during the order check-out process. After authenticating my membership, at no point was I forced to switch to AMEX, and my orders retained their ShopSafe benefits (free shipping to receive the order, free return shipping for orders I decided to return).
D’oh! Most of the instances of the word “ShopSafe” above should have been “ShopRunner.” The only part where ShopSafe was intended was where it said “BofA ShopSafe.”

How is ShopRunner still in business? I have had a “free” membership since signing up for a “free” membership like 6? years ago. Never paid for it
They make money when you go to the site via their link
ShopRunner has never needed your money. It takes a % of sales that ship through partner e-commerce retailers, who are also the ones paying for packaging and expedited shipping.
