Our Verdict
TAB Bank also has a rewards checking account, originally this was 4% APY on balances up to $50,000 but has now been reduced to 2% APY on balances up to $25,000 (although interest rates across the board have dropped dramatically during this period). It’s not unusual to see 1% back on debit card purchases, but the lack of a cap is. I doubt this is sustainable long term.
