The Fine Print
- Terms and Conditions: Only existing First Tech Rewards credit cardholders who have received this promotion are eligible to earn 5x bonus rewards points by spending a minimum of $1,000 up to a maximum of $3,000 on total net qualified purchases and are eligible to earn 6x bonus rewards points by spending a minimum of $3,001 up to a maximum of $6,000 on total net qualified purchases.
- In order to receive the 5x and 6x bonus rewards points, you must make qualified purchases that are posted to the account within the promotional period of June 5, 2026 and December 15, 2026.
- Bonus rewards points will be awarded after the second statement following the conclusion of the promotion period that ends on December 15, 2026.
- Delays by the merchant could extend the transaction date beyond the promotional period.
- Bonus rewards points will not accrue on returned purchases, balance transfers, finance charges, fees, cash advances, purchase of cash or cash equivalents (prepaid debit cards or other stored value/reloadable cards), interest charges, gambling chips, lottery tickets, travelers’ checks or insurance.
- Your account must be open and in good standing (i.e., not in default, closed, inactive or otherwise not in good standing) throughout the promotional period and at the time of statement credit fulfillment to receive the bonus.
- Any inquiries or disputes must be received within 60 days of discovering the error.

Our Verdict
Not entirely sure how this works (e.g if you spend $3,000 do you earn 5x on all $3,000 in spend or only on the $2,000 over $1,000 threshold?) should still be useful for some people. Some readers have this card from when a $400 bonus was offered.
