Our Verdict
I believe these $10 Best Buy and Target bonus gift cards are ordinary non-expiring gift cards, let us know if you see otherwise. iTunes/Apple gift cards now work for both Apple.com physical purchases and for iTunes digital purchases.
Use your Target REDcard for the Target purchase. Use the Chase Offer for 10% off Best Buy. Let us know what other stacks we’re missing.
DP: Just worked for me at a Best buy location. $10 Best buy gift card with a purchase of $100 Apple gift card. Paid with my Chase card where there was a 10% cash back deal active for Best buy. Will wait and see if I get an extra $10 back.

Not seeing the bonus on both physical and digiital pages. Seems dead.
PSA don’t buy Apple gift cards at Target in store–many people (me included) got scammed last year during thanksgiving when they did buy $100 get $20. Cards appeared as redeemed before I walked out of the store, and neither Apple nor Target were doing anything about it. Buy online instead! It might take longer to deliver to your email when a bunch of people order at the same time, but you won’t lose money.
Same happened to me; $100 Apple GC in- store from Target was already redeemed in Dec last year. Target and Apple kept passing the buck and even complaints to BBB and state attorney general amounted to nothing. Response from Target to these complaints was “our records show the gift card was successfully activated and that fulfills our merchant requirements. We apologize for this experience and hope to welcome you back to our stores soon.” Any ideas how the codes were
stolen? Software hack to allow for activation code intercept at POS?
I ended up disputing through my credit card and got my money back, but it took a long time
I made the mistake of buying with my Target red card to save an extra 5%, so disputing was not an option. A good lesson to buy GC with CC so that you have that option if needed. Should note , though, that banks are making it harder to dispute charges overall. USB and Discover are less consumer friendly in that regard from my experience.
For what it’s worth, I just redeemed several of the physical cards I bought at Target last November. No issues. I had forgotten about them so it could have been bad.
I only see the $10 card for the physical card at Best Buy, did the digital one stop having the bonus?
Never mind, I added both to my cart but it’s limited one per cart / purchase; was hoping to get 2 to maximize Chase offer since it’s up to $350, but oh well.
Not sure why people buy these. Either find a friend that works at Apple (even retail workers) -> 15% discount on everything or get the B&H photo card and save on tax (assuming you are in CA this is almost as good as the employee discount). You can use them if your friend at Apple don’t mind using it for you but I’d rather let them earn some Apple cashback for helping me out lol.
Some of us don’t have friends who work for Apple. Some of us live in NY, where we pay sales tax on purchases from B&H.
Think of the universe of people who frequent this site and home many might know someone who works at Apple or want to sign up for a B&H card and you have your answer

I’m seeing a limit of 1 each on Bestbuy.
You have to place separate orders. But then the third order won’t show the $10 best buy egc. At least that’s the way it’s working with the digital version. For the physical version I’ve placed two orders for shipping and it looks like I could do a third if I wanted.
Does bestbuy report level 3 data to amex? Could I use this towards SUB?
Presumably the Best Buy deal stacks with the Chase 10% offer, at least the physical card. Not sure if the digital card codes as being sold by Best Buy.
