[Expired] Target Stores: Spend $10 On School Supplies, Get Coupon For 15% Off Shopping Trip [8/24-8/25]

Deal has expired, view more Target deals by clicking here.

The Offer

Direct Link to offer

  • Target is offering a coupon for 15% off a shopping trip if you spend $10 on school supplies in Target stores on August 24th or August 25th.

The 15% off coupon is valid on a future shopping trip in stores only between Sept. 3 – September 14.

The Fine Print

  • Your $10 purchase must be made in a single transaction in stores on 8/24/19 or 8/25/19 between local store opening and store close.
  • The $10 qualifying purchase will be calculated after all other discounts have been applied.
  • Excludes CVS Pharmacy, clinic and Target Optical.
  • Limit one 15% off coupon per guest.
  • Some exclusions apply; see coupon for details.

Our Verdict

No details are given on if there’ll be any exclusions or limits on the 15% coupon (presumably gift cards won’t get the 15% discount, for example). This should be a nice deal for regular Target shoppers, in any event.

Actually isn’t too bad, you can use it towards computers and TVs with the exception of Apple brand or LG OLED tvs.

How do they determine what items are school supplies? Or, is it just if you spend $10 on basically anything in the store on those days?

Not anything in the store. Just school supplies. It’s not that hard to figure out what counts. You might want to start here:

$10 isn’t much to spend on something you’ll eventually use anyway. Don’t get stupid about trying to make things count that don’t count.

bob,

Thanks for posting that link! I was looking for a bulletin board for my home office and it looks like it would be considered school supplies. Only $9 though, so I guess I’ll have find something else to buy. Back to your link, I guess! 😉

Hmm. This list seems too generous. Bounty paper towel, for example, doesn’t seem like it would qualify. I can’t find an actual list of inclusions/exclusions anywhere in the ad, though.
