The Offer
No direct link, targeted offer
- Get a $5 statement credit by using your enrolled eligible Card to spend a minimum of $50 in one or more purchases to pay US bill payments for cable and/or internet services made directly with the provider by 7/13/2023.
The Fine Print
- Limit of 4 statement credits (total of $20)
Our Verdict
Works out to be a 10% discount if you spend exactly $50. Not a bad deal but not amazing either. In the past, we’ve heard reports that you can spend the entire $200 in one shot and get a $20 credit.

Looks like Amex goofed and resent the offer. I now have the same offer twice loaded onto the same card, but each offer has its own unique ID https://i.ibb.co/TDDP5LV2/twice.png

Did not receive on my BCP. Always got this when I had a BCE. Amex is pushing me to downgrade!!
Nothing though did use it two years ago. Sometimes these come in waves so will check as did only use for the bonus and put the rest of the spend on the other persons card from after bonus on out. As a side note did put the deposit for Comcast on the card and it did count. Also as the bill was over a hundred it does not have to be split as of then it counted as 2x or $10 back.
Did not receive on my Amex Schwab Plat
Since T Mobile is an internet provider, would it work if I pay my phone bill?
0/3
For my provider, the best way to maximize is wait until a bill is due (can’t pay with zero balance) then pay the max amount allowed up to $200 in increments of $50. A $200 charge should get you 4x credits or $20.
on the one hand, good idea
…on the other…you may be overpaying
Not really. The amount of overpayment will count as a negative balance which will cover future bills.
Had it last round on my Everyday card but not this time.
I’m seeing an expiration date of 6/10/25 instead of 6/2
I got the offer twice. One with an expiration date of 1/12 and the other with an expiration date of 6/10/25. The first 4 transactions posted the next day. the 4th transaction triggered both offers. But no credits have posted after that fourth transaction even though the second offer with 6/10 expiration still shows in the account.
