[Expired] [Targeted] Barclaycard Cards: $150/15,000 Points For Booking A Carnival Cruise

This deal has expired, click here to view current Barclaycard bonuses.

The Offer

No direct link, targeted offer.

  • Barclaycard has sent out an offer for a $150 statement credit or 15,000 points (various different currencies based on the card you hold) when you book a Carnival cruise between 2/16/18 and 3/15/18.

The Fine Print

  • Bonus will post within 6 to 8 weeks after the promotion end

Our Verdict

Nice thing about this deal is that you can either book direct or through a travel agent. If booking through a travel agent it should be possible to stack this with any other offers they have. You can probably do a three night cruise fairly cheap (close to free). My guess is that they won’t allow you to split the purchase over multiple cards with the offer, but it never hurts to try. If anybody knows of any good ways to stack this deal, please share them in the comments below.

I reserved a cruise on carnival via Carnival’s website on 3/15, charged the minimum deposit of $150. Received $150 statement credit on 4/25. Thanks, DOC!

I called Barclays today for more clarification. If the agent was correct, you only need to book the cruise and charge the deposit, no need to “pay in full” to receive the offer. Again, this is only information from the call center agent, no confirmation the information is actually correct.

any folks knows how long Barclay offers a full AF refund after it’s posted? is it 30 days or longer? my arrival+ recd the offer but thought about downgrade the acct to no AF cash rewards around 3/1 (AF posted on 2/1)
If using the card to book a cruise now then downgrade later with the same acct #, will the acct still receive the $150 cr? Thx

A reminder that cruise lines offer great MS opportunity. Load up in the casino using CC and anything you don’t use is given back in cash or check when you disembark. Lots of DPs on Reddit of success and my own to speak off

Swipe your card to load your cruise account at slot machines – codes as a purchase under travel expenses because to the ship you are just putting money in your account for any kind of purchase onboard – I believe carnivals max is 5k per day

Beware tho- if you have more than 10k in cash after a cruise you will be questioned heavily and forced to do a lot of paper work by customs

I have booked Carnival cruises when AMEX offers has the spend $500 get $100 World Leading Cruise Line offers. Carnival lets you split cards. I have done the splits myself online as well as through my travel agent.
