I signed up for it, Got the Month 1 500, Month 2 1000, but no credit as of yet for Month 3 1500 and no 2k bonus for all three months, obviously. Followed the promotion details and fulfilled all three – its 2/24/25 and only 4 days left for status year – these promotions just suck.

Since they give the SUB for one purchase, I guess they have a lot of sock-drawered cards.

I am not subscribed to marketing emails from Barclays or AA.Is there a way I can participate? Or check if I am targeted?

someone said that they see it in their AA page under Promotions/Offers as well. I didn’t get the email, and I don’t see it under Offers.

Is this a good reminder to sign up for the aviator red again before Citi becomes the sole AA credit card partner?

Got the same offer as stated above (no $100 minimum as someone mentioned below) but it came directly from AA and did not mention Barclay’s at all.

Hello, Name

We noticed you’ve been missing out on earning Loyalty Points with your AAdvantage® Aviator® Mastercard®, so we have an exclusive offer for you to earn up to 5,000 Loyalty Points.*

Here’s how it works:
Register by October 31, 2024

Spend $100 or more using your AAdvantage® Aviator® Mastercard® in October, November and December to earn Loyalty Points

Earn additional Loyalty Points when you spend $100 or more in all 3 months

500 for spending $100 in Oct
1,000 for spending $100 in Nov
1,500 for spending $100 in Dec
Bonus 2,000 for spending $100 in all 3 months, for a total of 5,000 Loyalty Points.

I have the exact same offer except mine says “miles” instead of “Loyalty Points”. The T&C are unclear on mine if the bonus miles will also earn LPs or not. I am going to do it regardless, at least until my annual fee comes due in the next several weeks. Even if I only do October for bonus 5x miles, it is not a waste on unbonused spend.

<Edit>Also, I did not initially see this in my email as I sent it straight to trash, but I found it yesterday in the AA app.</Edit>

Thanks for the body text!

Sadly I got:

We noticed you’ve been missing out on earning miles* and Loyalty Points1 with your AAdvantage® Aviator® Red Mastercard®, so we want to remind you of the many benefits you get with your card.

yawn haha

Agreed – it was nice to read the text to see who was targeted. I guess my loyalty for using the card isn’t rewarded. Back into the sock drawer!

I got this same offer. If it were miles then I’d definitely do it, but I rarely fly AA (I mainly use AA miles for their partner flights) so I don’t really care about loyalty points
