Did not receive the email for my Freedom Unlimited.

Not verified as yet…. GCG picked this up via slickdeals, and the original poster there didn’t post even the most basic details, and two spartan follow-ups said only that it was targeted, but they didn’t post the subject line. (and over a thousand readers have viewed it, but nobody as yet added any more detail or verification) As such, lots of thumbs down…..

Any readers here seeing the actual message/invite?

Got the darn WholeFoods offer for the other card. Would have preferred this one.

I’m still trying to figure out how to manufacture the 4th quarterly Cashback at Department stores since none sell VGC’s 🤔

Just PayPal my mom

Isn’t a fee associated with that?

His mom will pay the fee if she can keep the rest…

I’ve seen VGCs at Sears and JCPenny. Walmart accepts Chase Pay online and in-store thru Walmart Pay.

WM pay via chase pay doesn’t work on iPhone right?

Chris

Chase Pay doesn’t work in the app on iPhone, but you can use the website and choose Chase Pay at checkout when ordering something online.

If you paid walmart.com by chase pay and return instore, the only option available is refund by walmart gift card. It took me 20 minutes just to get the cash refund since even CSM don’t know how to do it.

None for me. 🙁
Never seem to be targeted for these unique rewards.

You’re not the only one. I don’t know if you have any other Chase credit cards where your transfer your points to get a higher redemption, but I feel like if you do or you have you won’t be targeted. Just a thought with no evidence but, it would be nice to see if there are any other data points that support this theory.

An ok theory, but my CIC and CF don’t get targeted, and I can’t transfer to any points program….

P2 was targeted for this. Would not have checked the email without this post. Thanks Doc. Thats $50 for free especially with several Plastiq FFDs to spend.

Nothing for either card for me, but I use my Freedom all the time so not too surprising.

Freedom Unlimited:
William, don’t miss your chance to earn an extra 10% cash back
and a follow-up
Reminder, earn an extra 10% cash back this holiday season

(I had totally misread that as increasing my current 1.5% by 10%, i.e 1.5% x 1.1 = 1.65% so not interesting. Thanks for causing me to realize that was wrong. Need to find my sock-drawered card now…)
