Our Verdict

Not sure if Amazon Books locations sell Amazon gift cards or not, but an easy purchase if they do.

This was shown last week on my card, and I had got the gift cards from Amazon books, but as mentioned it got coded as Amazon stores. But my chase shows it as offer redeemed. Therefore, I guess I should get the cashback

They indeed sell gift cards and this is an easy max out for those who have these stores around them. Same goes for the similar Amazon 4 Star store offers — for those of us in Seattle we can easily max out several hundred dollars of gift card purchases at 10-15% off when combining all these offers. For me I have both the 4* store and the Amazon Books offers on 4 different chase and BofA cards.
