Our Verdict
Some nice offers here. Offers for places like Grocery should be able to stack with the regular 5% earned on your top category for a total of 9x rewards.

I had an offer for 4 extra points for my Citi Custom Cash on bill payments in
– Cell & Landline Providers
– Internet Providers
– Cable & Satellite Providers
– Insurance Providers
– Entertainment Subscriptions
through 1/31. Oddly, my electric utility bill payment qualified for the extra 4 points. LOL… I have no idea why that would have counted since it coded as “Services – Utilities – Electric, Gas, Sanitary, Water”. They must have counted any utility bill payment, not just the stated categories.
For the record, I got a retail offer and a grocery offer, and both posted automatically.
DP: Got an email for my Simplicity card at 5X (it doesn’t earn 1X on normal purchases so the total is the same). Categories are: Restaurants, Movie Theaters, Show Theaters.
Seems like I did not get it this time.
