Am I missing something? It seems like it’s actually just a 30 day holding period. If you open the account and fund the minimum, you have until the end of the next month to fund it, and then you have to hold the funds until the end of the month after that. 35 days to be on the safe side, but still not 60 days like I’ve seen other comments say.

That is what it looks like but I want someone who has done this to confirm.

Also want to know if it is easy to buy and sell no load money market mutual funds myself (via online interface) or do I have to call to place an order?

Does new funding include securities transferred via ACAT or is it just cash? Any data points on this?

Someone who opened an account with them, could you please check if they provide access to their Citi research reports for individual stocks? Thanks in advance!

The churn window has been extended as well: “Limit one bonus per individual customer with Date of Initial Funding between 11/1/21 – 3/31/24.”

Moving in 10000 for an easy $100 if one can get 5%+ for 60 days might be ok.

Not only that but you have to deal with Shiti. Not worth it.

Thanks. Looks like that, though terms are conflicting – not fully updated.

If you click on the “see details” option on the top of the page, the terms seem to be updated including a chart showing when funds need to be deposited, how long to maintain, and when the reward should pay out.

1. Fund a new or existing Citi Self Invest account* with a minimum of $10,000 of New-To-Citi funds between 9/1/23 – 3/31/24. The date we receive the first New-To-Citi funds in your Citi Self Invest account is defined as your “Date of Initial Funding”. See below for the definition of “New-To-Citi funds”. The Date of Initial Funding will determine the Account Funding Period, during which you may continue to add New-To-Citi funds to establish your bonus amount.
2. You must be enrolled in eDelivery of statements through the end of the Account Funding Period.
3. Maintain the New-To-Citi funds in your Citi Self Invest account through the Maintain Funds deadline shown in the chart below. For example, an account that initiates funding from 9/1/23 – 9/30/23 must complete funding their account by 10/31/23, and then maintain funds until 11/30/23.

Not seeing any restriction on previous accounts, is this churnable?

My DP last time around:

There is this restriction:

“Limit one bonus per individual customer with Date of Initial Funding between 11/1/21 – 9/30/23.”

No DP on whether they enforce though.

Looks like there is a two year rule for churning.

Could someone who opened a brokerage account with Citi give me an answer to my question, please. After opening the account, does City give access to their proprietary stock analytical materials (access to .pdf City Research reports)? Thank you!
