The Offer
Barclay just released a targeted spend offer on the AAdvantage Aviator Red Mastercard and many apparently got it judging from the number of mentions across the web.
- Spend $2500 or more each month using your Aviator Red Mastercard each month from December 2015 through May 2016 and receive a bonus of 30,000 AAdvantage miles.
Some of the emails being sent out are advertising a 45,000-mile offer and others are calling it a 30,000-mile bonus, but they’re both the same thing as one is counting the regular 1x into the offer and the other is just counting the bonus of 30k.
The Fine Print
- Must register by 12/31/15 to participate
- Bonus miles will be awarded in July 2016
- It sounds to me that the spend requirement is $2500 per calendar month
Our Verdict
Really nice offer here if you got it. Spending exactly $2500 per month for the 6 months of December 2015 through May 2016 will net you 45,000 AAdvantage miles for $15,000 in spend, or 3x everywhere. Nice!
