  2. Visit any participating Kia dealer between 2/3/16 and 3/31/16
  3. Present the printed or electronic certificate and your personal identification
  4. Test-drive a new Kia

  7. Your envelope must be postmarked by 4/15/16 to receive your $25 Kia Visa Prepaid Card.
  8. Approximately 6 to 8 weeks after submitting your completed certificate, you’ll receive a $25 Kia Visa Prepaid Card by return mail.

  • One $25 gift card per household
  • Salesperson validation required

Our Verdict

Kia seems to run this offer every year with the same details. In the past, if you were honest about not actually wanting to purchase a car, they would not make you do a test drive and just fill out the form for you. There is some risk, though, in admitting that you don’t actually want the car, so it may be safer to just do the test drive.

This is also limited to the first 10,000 certificates they receive and it doesn’t look like they will tell people when this number is reached. This makes it impossible to know for certain that you’ll actually end up with the $25, but let’s hope for the best.

Note that sometimes the system seems to flag you as having done the offer if you did it a previous year. There is nothing in the terms that limits us from doing this more than once-in-a-lifetime, so you can simply use a different email address and get the certificate that way, and that should let you complete this offer.

You can find previous test drive opportunities here.

Thanks for posting this info! I had an appointment today to get something repaired on my Kia. I said since I have time to kill can I take a test drive for the $25 deal. They asked if I had pre-registered and I said yes – I had the paper in my purse. I told the sales man that I was probably not going to be ready to buy for a few more years, but he could try to tempt me. I said who knows, I could get into an accident and need one sooner, you never know. I had plenty of time while I waited on my car so it worked out well. I took the salesman’s card and said I would keep him in mind when I was ready to shop, and if I heard of anyone looking for a car I would recommend him.

Signed up, test drove, and had a sales agent complete the application on my phone on 2/6 or 2/7. Received the $25 card 2/15! Thanks DoC!

I used the text option. Had to do the test drive and asked to fill information with salesperson. He had to input on his side and me on my phone. Got an information saying that my information was processed and will receive an gift card in 4-6 weeks. Do the text option to avoid the mail in rebate !

Don’t use the same mailing address.

“We’re Sorry. This address has already been used for a previous submission. The Kia Test-Drive program is limited to one certificate per household.”
