The Offer

Direct Link

  • Topcashback is offering a $3 bonus when you make a $10 purchase through their shopping portal after activating the promotion at the above link

  • Valid August 18th through August 20th, 2017, ends at 23:59 PT
  • Transactions with the following merchants are excluded from this promotion: 123 Copy DVD, 4 Wheel Parts, Accorhotels.com, Angara, B2C Jewels, BigAl’sOnline.com, Black Halo, Booking.com, Canvas People, Defender Pro, Fiverr, Flora2000, Fly Again, Footwear etc., Gray Line New York Halfpricedrapes.com, Hansen Surfboards Inc., Hotels.com, IHG, iStock, Journey, KingIce, Link-Assistant, Metal Mulisha, Netflix, PRWeb, Serif, SHOEBACCA.com, Tafford.com, The Popcorn Factory, TopCashBack – SignUp Bonus

  • You can earn a maximum of $3.00 bonus cash back
  • Tell-A-Friend and Sign Up bonuses will not count as one of your purchases towards the Cash Back Bonus; Cash Back bonus will not count towards your friend’s Tell-a-Friend referral threshold
  • Cash Back Bonus will be added on to your account as a separate cash back amount once the original transaction has tracked. Please allow 7 days for this to appear.
  • If you cancel your order, the Cash Back Bonus will be removed
  • Cash Back Bonus may not automatically apply to purchases where a Missing Cash Back Claim needs to be lodged to get your purchase to track correctly. If this is the case and your claim is successful you will need to raise a support ticket to be awarded the bonus.

Our Verdict

If you have any shopping to do within the next 3 days, could be worth using Topcashback for the added $3 bonus. As always, check the various portal rates to verify which is best.

Anyone’s $3 actually post on TCB instead of being pending?

Has anyone had issues with the cashback? For example, I bought something from website X and charges Y amount on it. Except that topcashback calculated the amount charged to the order incorrectly?

Made several purchases using topcashback and have been getting different % cashback on several orders all from the same site buying almost the same items in each order. Worse part is it takes them about 2-3 months to verify the order?? What the heck? Ebates at least credits you first then reviews it. Might just switch back to ebates. Anyone have any experience with this?

I bought a $12 Groupon, didn’t get the bonus. No idea why.

Right now, raise.com has a bunch of very slightly discounted $25 Amazon gift cards. Those will work for this promo.

Not sure why you’re arguing. I did it and it worked. The Amazon gift cards are back in stock at Raise after being sold out last night. The easiest way for anyone still wanting their $3 is to buy something over $20 on Raise or anything on Cardpool.

He’s talking about Raise and purchasing Amazon GC.

I can never understand how TC calculates the cash back amount. The $10 spending has to be out of pocket cost? It looks like if i used rewards points to pay for the item (staples rewards, plenti points, etc) then i don’t get any cash back. So in this case, won’t get the $3 promo because the oop spending (tax) is less than $10?

TCB CB is always before tax and after rewards/coupons. So assume this would be the same.
BTW i already got this $3 after making a $60+ purchase yesterday which I was going to make anyway.

Funny thing I activated after my purchase like 30min and I still got confirmation it counted. I think it was dumb luck and the delay between website posting to TCB.

when I activated the offer, I checked their t&c and saw the merchants that are excluded from the offer. GCdotcom and GCM are NOT on the list so I’m confident we can buy GCs at those merchants and get our CBs.

Couldn’t you also just buy a g/c at Amazon and get the $3 promo?
