Direct link to offer

To receive the match you need to present your VIP loyalty card from select competitors to any Caesars Rewards Center between February 1st and December 31st, 2019.
  • You can also get this status extended through December 31st, 2020 by hitting the tier credits required in the chart below:

The Fine Print

  • The “Offer Period” for this Offer is February 1 through December 31, 2019
  • Participants that had their Caesars Rewards accounts upgraded via the 2018 Diamond Tier Match Offer will not qualify for this offer

Our Verdict

Total Rewards is being renamed Caesar Rewards on February 1st, 2019. There are a few reasons why you might want Total Rewards/Caesar Rewards Diamond status:

You need to have gold or platinum status already, but gold status is the entry level so everybody has that.  It isn’t clear what statuses with other hotel programs they will match to, if anybody knows then please share in the comments below.

Just found this string. If I maintain Diamond level with Wyndham all the time (I travel for my job), when my TR expire at the end of January can I just rematch it again? I didn’t know it was a one time offer when I matched at the beginning of this year. I haven’t even been to Vegas yet….planning to take my son next April.

Until and if the Wyndham-Caesars partnership changes, one can match back and forth between the two indefinitely, online. Same goes for matches between Mlife Gold-Hyatt Explorist.

QUESTION: Has anyone done this, online it says it can take up to 30 days to process, does it actually take this long or will I be able to use my new rewards immediately??

Would you like to get upgraded to DIAMOND STATUS with CAESARS REWARDS without spending MEGA BUCKS gambling? Founders card gets you that upgrade! Plus you get other things like GOLD STATUS with Hilton Honors, BIG savings with UPS, many other hotel perks and if you use it wisely you status match other high end programs like Wyndham rewards! They offer many high end discounts and perks that you can take advantage of!

The normal Founders Card Fee is $595 but if you use my code below you get $200 off!
and if you do the math with the DIAMOND STATUS UPGRADE it PAYS FOR ITSELF!!

You get the $100 celebration dinner which can be used at many Caesars property restaraunts plus NO RESORT FEES!!! so if you go to a CAESARS property 6 or 7 times you have already paid for your membership!! It really is a HUGE BENEFIT and $395 vs gambling $1000’s …… it is a NO BRAINER!!!

– TAKE A LOOK and see what awesome things FoundersCard Offers!

FoundersCard is NOT the way to obtain Caesars Diamond status, since it such status can be had free of charge, every year, either by matching with Wyndham Diamond, with select casino memberships (e.g., Mlife Gold), or with certain cruise lines. Anyone interested in FoundersCard should read the reviews both negative and positive, and they should not pay more than $295/year. A $295 membership fee can be obtained via some referral codes posted online (Google them), via offers made directly from FC to people who begin completing an application but don’t follow through on purchasing a membership, or via negotiating with FoundersCard to prepay two years in advance.

So, since we should all have Caesars Diamond and Wyndham Diamond at this point.. Time to take a trip to Atlantic City to status match from Caesars to MGM MLife Gold (& Hyatt Explorist) while the promo is active.

I just want to get this straight.. so for DC area residents/Maryland to get Caesars Diamond status we need to go to the Horseshoe Casino in Baltimore to match with Wyndham Diamond status? We can’t directly match Wyndham Diamond status with the MGM in National Harbor? I called (transferred from the hotel main number) the MGM National Harbor M-life desk (open 24 hours) and inquired about status matching and the person that answered said he only matches if people have no MGM account whatsoever.

Two different things, Sparky.
1. Caesars and Wyndham are partners. You can match online using their respective websites if you already have diamond with either/or. Otherwise, you can acquire Diamond with Caesars using DOC’s method above.
2. AFTER you have Caesars Diamond, however you got it, you can match to MGM / HYATT (who are NOT Caesars partners) using the method I posted that you replied to. It looks like its ONLY at the Borgata, at least that’s how I read the promo.

It also looks like the complimentary stay at Atlantis is no longer complimentary unless Diamonds achieve 15,000 points in the program. Anyone read the conditions differently?

Last year I think I used Hilton Diamond to match to Wyndham Diamond, then matched that to TR Diamond. My Wyndham Diamond expired earlier this week, but was able to rematch it from TR Diamond online, which took about 10 seconds.

The $100 celebration dinner benefit expires 1/31 of each year, so if you have TR Diamond now make sure you use it up. I just used mine at my local Harrah’s casino. It’s a good idea to call the casino/restaurant to make sure you can use your $100 voucher there before going, but to use it you just need to give them your rewards card and tell them to use the voucher and it will come off your bill. Keep in mind you can’t use it for the gratuity, and it’s a one time use, so if you only spend $40 then the rest is lost.

Once my TR Diamond expires at the end of the month I’m going to match again from Wyndham.

How do you know you whether you have it or not? Does it show somewhere in your account, or should you just “get it” when you become Diamond? Harrahs is my local casino too, so I’d appreciate your advice.

I believe it’s an automatic benefit for Diamond status. You can always check with the membership or promo desk (whatever they call it – the place where they print out your card) to make sure it’s on your account. I think you can even call in and have them verify as well. Just call the number on your card for member services and someone should be able to look it up.

Diamond lounge access only works once you meet 15k tier credits, otherwise they don’t let you in.

I’ve matched (with my Wyndham) on 26th of December (hoping they’ll give me in the beginning of the January, I was in Vegas for CES) and they’ve quickly matched and gave TR Diamond only till Jan 31st 2019. At TR desk they’ve said that its an once per lifetime opportunity and that they can’t extend it… Any suggestions?

I tried doing this last year with SPG platinum and they said I needed a casino competitor status to match. I only have platinum with Total Rewards this year.

Back? It never went away. Totalrewards has always been matching top tier cards, only once per acct. Misleading.
