The Offer

• Both you and the person who referred you will receive a bonus of $100 when you do the following:
  • Open a new Ultra Free of Payback checking account
  • Receive a direct deposit of at least $400 per month within the first 60 days
• Both parties can also receive another $100 each if a new Prestige loan is opened within 60 days of account opening (minimum loan of $10,000 required)

The Fine Print

• The referral reward will be deposited into the member’s Prestige Community Credit Union Savings Account.
• Referral Reward may be subject to income tax reporting.
• Offer expires at the discretion of the Board of Directors.
• Not valid in conjunction with any other offer. Conversion accounts do not qualify for rewards.
• All bank account bonuses are treated as income/interest and as such you have to pay taxes on them

Avoiding Fees

Ultra Free checking account has no monthly fees to worry about. I wasn’t able to find an up to date fee schedule but according to this old one they charge $25 if closed within 180 days.

Our Verdict

User Hersh has offered to provide referral information in the comments (and also let us know it was a soft pull).  For now we won’t be adding this to our best checking bonus page.
