Our Verdict
They have offered this bonus a number of times before. Generally they structure the deals so it will require more flights than you’d normally complete within that time frame. It’s also important to remember you need to register and only flights booked after registering actually count.

Got silver till 2020 for flying 3 times. I probably would skip as I am about to become Delta Gold.
I guess that because I missed my last one (4900 miles, 1 flight for $125+) I was given another but for only 2500/$150. My S/O was 4500/$150 out of EWR the last time. This time it’s 3600/$175 for 1 trip but not from any specific airport.
Got 13k for 5 trips $275 or more.
United has a bug in the system. On the last one, my trip posted 1 day later than the mileplay ended, I had to call in and get them to credit the miles manually. Keep a close watch especially if you are down to the last day
