Our Verdict
This will work on the Marriott air and hotel packages, these already offer great value on converting Marriott points to United miles. Normally for 270,000 Marriott points you get seven nights at a category 1-5 property and 132,000 United miles. During this promotion you’d receive a total of 152,000 United miles (keep in mind it’s capped at 20,000 bonus miles. I still think you are better off doing this then going for one of the lower packages because as you progress you’re just paying 1 Marriott point per mile even before this 25% bonus).
United miles don’t hold as much currency as they used to, but Marriott points are easier to come by due to the ability to transfer one SPG point for three Marriott points. There is also a 20% transfer bonus when you go from Marriott > American Airlines. Also worth remembering that it normally requires 2 SPG points to get 1 United mile as well.
Hat tip to Frequent Miler
How long did it take for the bonus points to post last they did this promo?

No you do not normally get this. It’s only if you’re eligible for RewardsPlus which means you’re a UA elite.
How do you getting the United 152k and 7 days certificate. If you call the agents you will get normal 132k miles and 7 days certificate, right? How do you get the 25% bonus miles.
You get the extra 25% bonus via this promotion.
the only problem is that united miles are now terrible. can’t even pick our own, valid routings now. you can get UA via UR so saving spg for spg partners is better imo.
this…. United miles are on the brink of being completely useless
Meh. I never used multi-destination so I could care less. With UAs new TPAC routes they are much more useful for my purposes.
