Our Verdict

They offered the same thing last year. Your address needs to match with your SkyMiles address as well so keep that in mind. I will add this to our list of ways to get free frequent flyer miles.

Noticed an increase in my skymiles account today when I wasn’t expecting anything and realized that the first week of 12Status miles had posted (158 miles). I had signed up last year to see if it would work and never got any miles since my address is not in Washington. Reactivated my account this year just in case and glad I did. The interesting thing is that when I log in to 12status, it says I’ve earned 0 miles still.

Bad of me, but I entered a Washington state zip code and it went through. My address is NY.

They don’t ask for a full address when registering; only your zip code. I’m assuming you mean that my two zip codes need to match?

I didn’t end up changing my zip code on my Delta account but still registered for this program using a Seattle zip code, so I’ll be the DP I want to be and see if it still works.

Probably won’t work if it’s the same system as last year. I signed up with my skymiles account last year that still had my old out of state address on it. I didn’t realize it and my miles never posted till I gave them a utility bill with my WA address.

Their customer service was horrible and I didn’t get it resolved until after the season was over. Incredibly slow response time and they didn’t till me that was the issue until the season was over. I’m the end I got the miles and will sign up again this year. I shouldn’t have the same problem.

Moral of the story: check your address in Delta before signing up with 12status.

Thanks for the input. Went ahead and changed my address in Delta today; we shall see if I have any luck.

The Seahawks passed for 4,124 yards in 2016, so if they match that feat again this season, that’s how many miles we’ll get.

At first, when I saw the poster I thought they were talking about throwing people out of the plane, but this is good.

FYI – it’s one mile for every passing yard at both home and away games. This is changed from last year.
