So I didnt see the comments on “adding a $10 gift card to the transaction which would become free”. I’m going to call customer service to get this fixed, but I cant find the original offer anywhere. The post references page 24, but my online ad goes up to 14 pages and the paper ad in store goes up to 8 pages. Can anyone assist please?
Depends on your area. If it’s not in the ad, it may not be available in your area. There should be a sign with the gift cards, usually right next to the Walgreens gift cards on the rack.

I was literally going to do this today for Uber cards but now I am scared they will cancel the Uber account. Insane.

Not available in the NYC area… AGAIN!!! Fortunately have a trip this week to an area that has it available.
They did this same deal before Christmas. If you use Netflix and/or Uber, it’s a great deal. You simply buy 2 of these (one of each, or 2 of the same) for $30 total and they give you a $10 Walgreens gift card. You then go back to buy 2 more, and you swipe the $10 Walgreens gift card first, and then pay them 20 bucks. Rinse and repeat as many times as you’d like. The net result is that you’re paying $10 for $15 at Netflix and/or Uber (probably the best discount you’ll get on these), and you wind up with one $10 Walgreens GC to buy whatever else you eventually want. My problem is that I did it half a dozen times last month, and don’t currently need more Uber or Netflix money!
Walgreens gift cards can also be used on prescriptions, if needed. You can then buy multiple deals with one transaction and be able to liquidate a few cards at one time.

Did the $10 automatically credit to a gift card? I went in and nothing automatically popped out on 2×15 uber… had to get a mgr to credit me a $10 gc.
First cashier didn’t know what deal I was talking about so after speaking to manager, they credited me my account. 2nd time, cashier rang up a Walgreens $10 GC and it discounted immediately
Yes, just bring a plain GC to the register. I haven’t found a cashier yet who’s heard of this promotion, but they figure it out easily enough.
