Walmart has announced ‘Walmart Weekend‘ this will run from June 2nd until June 5th and is available exclusively for Walmart+ members. New members that sign up in store will also receive a $20 discount on online orders. The success of Walmart Weekend will really depend on how good the deals are, the sample deals don’t look particularly exciting.

My last 2 day shipping WM+ order took 6 days. I can’t tell if the delay was due to WM or USPS, or both.
my WM+ orders usually come a day early or even same day.
Same here, usually same day or next day for most items for me but there’s been a few times in the past were it was 4-6 days. It really depends on the item you are ordering and where you are located these day. Prime’s free 2-day shipping is also ymmv these days too.
The offerings last year weren’t anything special. There’s always an audience for tchotchkes and crap.
It feels the people behind Walmart+ (remember it’s to compete with Amazon Prime) are the same people that were taking care of sourcing mayonnaise at the best price. Like, they don’t have any clue. No wonder Amazon is still Amazon.

Iirc, on tuesday if you have t-mobile they will be offering a free 90 day trial to walmart+ as part of their tmobile tuesday line up.

Matches up exactly to Walmart earnings. In their earnings they said that they have excessive inventory that they need to get rid of and will likely host massive sales to get rid of the inventory. I am assuming Target and Amazon will do something similar. Most of the deals will probably be pretty garbage because these are all the items Walmart bought too much of and now no one is willing to buy them
