Was the sandwich good? I didn’t do it. I’m on a diet.

Got it from the drivethrough today, no need to order on app/online (at least in NoVA).

I’ve had several excellent free chicken biscuits before from Wendy’s and this time was no different.

To the first-timers who don’t like butter: you can customize your sandwich to have a different spread or no spread.

I went and got one yesterday and ended up throwing half of it away when I bit into a chewy piece of tendon or something disgusting. You get what you pay for I guess.

Typical American wasting food.

FYI, the tendon tells you it’s real chicken and not rendered meat.

I’ll send you the leftovers.

It’s normally a $3.50 sandwich, not a cheap one.

When I tried to use it today it seemed like it was going to charge me. Did anyone use it successfully?

The free chicken biscuit (with purchase) is one of the welcome offers for first-time app users. The free baconator is obviously better value, but to each his own.

This appears in my app under offers, only for mobile orders. Most of the offers have a ‘Use in Restaurant’ option that pulls up a scanable image, which has worked well. Mobile only kills this for me as only drive through is open at my locations. Plus they somehow are always out of biscuits.

Looking the Wendy’s site also suggests you need to order online. But it’s pretty clear on the Wendy’s site that you can get a free one, once per day and lacks any obvious T&Cs or restrictions other than 1 per day and not valid at all locations. Not worth the effort I think.

FYI, mobile orders and Wendy’s drive-thrus are not mutually exclusive. They’ll run of breakfast ingredients when breakfast hours are over.

It depends on your definition of “breakfast”.

I can’t really imagine this being good, but free is free.

The honey on the biscuit has a weird perfumy taste to me, but the chicken is good.

On the app, I always order the biscuit without honey butter since I can’t stand the taste. It wasn’t much better when it used to have the over-the-top artificial maple flavor either.

Honey, butter, and chicken were never meant to be together. Free but who cares? My stomach.

I tried this when it first came out, and I wasn’t a fan. There was just something funny about the honey butter taste, it was just a little off, and the texture was kind of grainy. But free is free!

It’s Maple honey butter.
