We found a working link to signup for the Wells Fargo Propel World American Express.
The Propel World card offers an enticing 40,000 point signup bonus, but it recently has gone missing on the Wells website as we reported yesterday.
Luckily, reader Marky Mark found a working link for the card.
The site asks you for login info, but you can really enter anything (in other words, create a login now) and it works. You’ll probably only get approved online if you already have (or perhaps used to have) had a relationship with Wells.
A couple of readers and many Reddit members have already applied using that link, and some even got instant approvals. You can only apply online if you already have an existing relationship with Wells.
Most likely this link is just a zombie link and won’t last forever. If the online link dies, we’ll be left to apply in branch or over the phone.
Signed up for this card in branch along with $500 checking account balance with portfolio. Banker checked all the offer terms and confirmed bonus with statement credit option. Is it good idea to maintain 25 k with cd to satisfy balance requirements.

12/30 I went into a WF branch to discuss a very recently opened checking account. Banker asked if I was interested in opening a card. I mentioned the Propel World, but said the 40k promotion had gone, so not at the moment. The banker was able to look through their database and find the 40k offer. Applied and approved.

Where does the bonus 40,000 points show up? Mine rewards screen just shows the 3293 base points for meeting the min spend. I guess I will buy a pack of gum to see if that triggers the bonus showing up.

I was thinking of downgrading current propel card and then how long should I wait for the next app or should I just try now since it might be changing?
