Our Verdict

Not sure how it’ll work out if you want to play with a friend. I think some courses should let you book the same tee time but others won’t.

Does one need to own golf clubs to make use of this? What’s a tee time? Pardon my ignorance in this subject.

Pag nope, tee time is when you start. You grab your fishing pole, cooler of beer, and a pack of hotdogs. You then put your gear in the golf cart and go to hole #1. When your tee time starts you slam on the gas pedal and go as fast as you can to the nearest body of water you see from the optional cart path you started on. Grab your pole and the pack of dogs and hook up your line.

At this point you pop open the 5th beer you’ve had since reaching your destination (somewhere between hole 10-14) and wait for the fish to bite. Around this time you’re on your last beer, no worries, the beer girl will be around to service your needs. Pay $8 for a Coors light and make sure you tip her.

After about an hour of no fish biting, you’ll be starving, good news, you still have 5 sun warmed dogs left to satiate your hunger. While gnawing on your third dog you can toss your Crocs off and make some extra cash by swimming for golf balls. Park your golf cart on the side of the path and sell the eco friendly used balls at $5 for 5, you’ll make back some beer money for the next deal that pops up on greens fees!

Could one just bring a bigger cooler and save $8 on beers? Or maybe just keep them out in the sun so the are the same temperature as the hotdogs? Warm beer = European = Classy.

Mike L Classy is using bread as bait from a free sandwich for knowing the beer girl that you received the beer and sandwich from.

William Charles Just giving some ideas that I may or may not have done as a teenager that lived near a golf course in the 90’s, as it pertains to using the grounds for things other than golfing.

The golf subreddit blew up with this deal on Friday morning. Last I heard it was dead, is it back? I was lucky enough to book a $150 Saturday tee time in mid-June. Hope it sticks!
