Our Verdict

Nice discount if you can get it to work. There was a similar offer that recently expired here. These offers are not for signing up, rather for making your first Amazon Business account purchase after 48 hours of signing up and within 7 days of signing up. Some people are having success chatting for the discount if it doesn’t work automatically. There was a similar deal a couple of months ago for $150, you can  read the comments there for more discussion.

Note, if you add Amazon Business on a Prime account, you lose Prime on that account and get a prorated refund. So you’ll want to do this on a separate Amazon login than your standard.

I attempted, but could not get this to stack with the gift card deals Amazon has going on today. Did anyone else try the same stack, with success?

I’m planning to setup an LLC just to make use of this business offers. If I make no revenue would I still need to file taxes?

Use a sole proprietorship, just research you may have to register with the state. If you have no revenue and no deductions TurboTax doesn’t add to you personal return if you have interest via bank bonuses than yes you will have to file.

I received this email. I did the past $150 off $300 offer x 4. At this point, I’m not sure what to buy

Do you own 4 different businesses or did you just fraudulently sign up for 3 additional accounts?

All businesses are sole proprietorship with my name as name of business so I’m not sure where the element of fraud would have been

EDITED TO ADD: FWIW, I did receive the targeted email for that particular offer even though it was available via Google ad incognito. Further, their cutting off the promo code early for those who had already signed up under specific terms and requiring chat to fulfill offer terms seems more fraudulent to me

I didn’t mean to come off as accusatory or like I’m shaming you, I was just curious. I personally don’t care how much Amazon VC money you take. Just wondering if you have multiple accounts specifically because you wanted to get the offer several times or if you have a legitimate reason for having 4.

I’d love to do this myself but I’m honestly kind of scared of exploiting things like that. I’m no legal expert but I wouldn’t be surprised if things like this could be considered fraud. I did signup for this deal using my legit business.

Fair enough. I guess it is likely against offer terms to redeem more than once although I don’t think there are terms stating you can’t have more than one Amazon account for a single businesses. Technically, since latter 2 promos required multiple chats to get discount credited appropriately (they refunded after items delivered), we’ve only done the $150 off $300 promo once per person (P1 and P2).

It really wasn’t necessary to acknowledge that you’re not a legal expert, nobody was confused on that point. Fraud requires deception.

Thanks Jason! Not sure what expertise you have, besides inviting people to “suck a shit directly out of your asshole” during ibond discussions, but I’m glad you took the time out of your busy day to clarify this.

Happy to help, I’m actually using up my vacation time so no worries! I don’t recall that comment specifically but thanks for taking the time out of your day for the odd investigatory work.

I always throw on some third party gift cards. Sometimes it works. They don’t have all third-party gift cards, like shell or mcdonald’s, but they do have Wendy’s and Panera,

Fair enough. I’m just hesitant as the promo code may end up not auto applying like my last 2 $150 off $300 promos and then if it is credited manually they probably won’t allow third party gift cards. Also, I feel like I’d have to change my targeted personal account to a business one directly (rather than creating a new business account) to have best odds of promo auto applying and then I probably won’t get targeted for future (?better) “create a business account” promos
