Our Verdict
This offer is targeted at select individuals, can’t hurt to try the link and see if it works for you.
We’ve seen this 20,000 points targeted offer in the past, though for a slightly higher $5,000 spend requirement (and here’s another way to try getting that offer). I believe this offer with the slightly lower $3k spend requirement matches the best ever offer. You can alternatively use a referral link which gives 10,000 bonus on $3,000 spend + 10,000 or 15, 000 or 20,000 points for referrer (depending which card you refer from), but remember that you might get a tax form for the points earned by the referrer.
Bigger question is how widely available this offer is, we’ll see as people report their findings. If you have any questions about American Express cards, read this first as it addresses the common questions.

DP: I currently have the AmEx Business Gold and got the points for gift cards a few months ago. I called CSR about the annual fee of $175 that is coming up for me and she would not budge. She offered this Blue Biz Plus and sent me offer details via email with link. No extra bonus points included, so not worth it.
I just tried to follow the link Doc posted and signed in and was offered this below, but for the $595 AF, they can keep it.

With all of the recent American Express shutdowns with certain links being used to apply, I’m a bit nervous about applying with this link. But 20,000 MR points for just $3,000 is a really good deal. Is the link to this offer safe?

Was denied :/
I called the Amex “apply by phone, small business team” phone number to see if this bonus always available to me. The first call they said no I wasn’t eligible. I called back a few minutes later and they said they don’t see that offer but would offer me a 10k bonus as a courtesy for $3k spent in 3 months. I took the offer and was approved

I received a targeted email for Amex blue biz cash offer with $200 back for spend 3k in 3 months..(no lifetime language) I am also seeing the Amex blue business 20k MR after 3k in 3mo using the link above (no lifetime language I believe) I never apply for these cards before. What should I do if I want to max out these bonus?
The link above doesn’t work for P2 but is able to see a special offer for a 100k biz plat as well as a 50k MR biz gold after 5k spend in 3 months in addition to the $500 fedex statement credit and lifetime language included. I view it In private mode.

Is there any way to have an amex account you can log into without having one of their CC’s?
Sorry to ask:
1. I clicked “Direct link to offer” above in this 9/3/19 DOC updated post, it shown up the page for this pre-approval offer and ask for “apply now”, Do I need to login any of my AMEX account first on the top right side, then come back that page to apply to be eligible for 20000 points?
2. I tried the referral link to see if I can use my other AMEX card to refer myself this Blue card. However, it only appear the card I login to refer (i.e. if I login rose gold personal card, only shown up referral same card; same as hilton card shown up hilton refer link) it won’t show up this blue card. Just wondering how ppl can refer yourself if u don’t have this blue card.

When you open the referral link you need to click where it says “View All Cards with a Referral Offer”. Then click All Business cards. Do not self-refer though, Amex will claw back those referral points.

for the question #1. when I clicked above “direct link”, I still need to login any of my AMEX account on top right, then when it back to original page. If I still can see the offer, I will be eligible that points. Am I correct?

If you have an application landing page with the 20k offer you should be good to apply and receive the offer

This appears to be working for me. I currently only have amex delta bus gold and have been wanting to get into MR. Seems like a good opportunity. Does pre-approved mean no hard pull?
Amex likely won’t hard pull you if you already have a card with them but pre-approved does not guarantee either approval or that there won’t be a hard pull.
AMEX will definitely hard pull you if you are approved. If you already have a card and they decline your application, then they do not do a hard pull.
