Looks like the offer is actually targeted, but it doesn’t have lifetime language either so that’s one positive I guess.

Our Verdict
This is the same point bonus as the best offer, but it’s $5,000 spend vs $3,000. That shouldn’t be a huge deal for most people as the card does earn 2x points and is one of the best every day earning cards. I’m not sure we will ever see a 20,000 point for $3,000 spend public bonus again either so I’d probably jump on this card/bonus if you’re interested. Something to important to note is that American Express limits you to:
- one approved credit card every 5 day rolling period and two approved credit cards every 90 rolling period
It looks like there will be a three day period where people can get the American Express SPG Luxury card starting on August 23rd, it might be wise to hold off on this application until you get that luxury card especially if you’ve recently been approved for another American Express credit card. Hopefully this Blue Business Plus offer lasts until December 31st, but I suspect it will die shortly. If you have any questions about American Express cards, read this first before asking them in the comments.

Called 800-669-6736 this morning (follow prompts for apply for new account, then business). Mentioned the 20K points with $5K spend with 12/31/18 expiration and was approved so this definitely still works.
Just called and was approved today for the 20k MR with 5k spend. Called 877-673-6758 (thanks dave for your comment). I mentioned that I saw the offer on the internet and the rep knew exactly what I was talking about.
Offer still available on the phone, just did it today. (877-673-6758). just be patient and mention the higher spend/higher bonus offer. be patient with the rep and they’ll find it for you. if not HUCA.

I thought 20k with 5k spend is always around. You just need to talk to their CSR over the phone. At least that’s how I got this offer a few weeks ago.

standard offer is 10,000 MR points when spend $3,000 within 3 months. However, if you call them over the phone and they usually will offer you 20,000 MR points when spend $5,000 within 3 months. That’s how I got the offer a few weeks ago. I can confirm this method still works.

Called the main business card number (877-673-6758) earlier today and was approved for the 20k/$5k offer.
Does Amex require an online login to apply online? Asking me to sign in. i dont have any Amex cards and I was going to make this my first. Is Amex picky with business cards? I have a few Chase biz cards but didnt know if there was a min income.
People are still able to call in and apply for this offer over the phone by mentioning that you googled it and saw it right? Do they just ask you the same questions as on the online app? I’m comfortable applying for a biz card online but not really over the phone.
