Our Verdict
In the past they have offered public bonuses of 500 miles for joining, another 250 for filling out your profile and 750 more for making a purchase. It might be worth waiting for that offer to come back if you would complete your profile, but wouldn’t complete the spend requirement. Personally I’d probably just grab this offer instead.

I think for an easy way to hit the spend requirement is to buy American Express Gift Cards through MyPoints, but the low threshold doesn’t make much sense for AMEX

I’ve only seen it at 1pt/$ and they translate it as .7% back which I never understood how they get the .7
