Looks like it’s not showing for everyone, but some are seeing this in their store app. Might be specific stores within the Kroger brand or maybe it’s somehow targeted to the consumer. Remember to use a card that earns a bonus at the grocery.
Separately, there’s a coupon for 4x fuel points on Visa/MC (and all other) gift cards which is valid through 9/28, so if you go on 9/27 or 9/28 you’ll get a double dip. In fact, the fuel points should credit based on the full purchase price, if prior experience is any indication.

Not in my Kroger app, but i do have a 50% off on 1 money order fee.
I get any money orders free at a payday loan place called Advance Financial. Never, ever took a loan w/them and hope never do. But I get any m.o. that I ever need from them. It’s rare, but last year I needed my first month’s rent in a money order for some reason, so that’s how I did it.
Since when does Kroger do YMMV coupons? Really annoying. Not on my account, nor on the app I never use. Did anybody else actually get this coupon? (I did get useless coupons for money crap I’d never use)
Kroger doesn’t have a universal app for all its brands, each family can choose to participate or not. Safeway used to be this way until they consolidated all their stores under just4u. There are still family specific deals but all the stores seem to get the same national deals.
I got this one under Mariano’s app, a recent Kroger addition.
So I tried this today. Added the coupon via the app and it didn’t apply when I bought the two MCGCs today at Kroger. Any other trick needed?
The only time that’s happened to me they called over the manager, they verified it was clipped on my app and that I had entered the phone number correctly and they applied it. Maybe go to customer service if you’ve already bought it?
Yeah, I guess $15 is worth going to customer service. I can go back by Kroger today or tomorrow. Thanks for confirming I did things correctly.

I didn’t find this on my Smith’s log in, but I do have the 4x fuel points on Visa/MC gift cards.
I keep trying to use my Freedom for gas and forgetting that Smith’s stopped taking Visa earlier this year.
About Smith’s and no visa, I encountered that too on recent trip through Wyoming….. Really bizarre to hear them claim that it was because Visa fees were too expensive…. (and yet they still accept amex — far higher, no?) If that was really the case, why didn’t the whole “Kroger” family stop using visa? (Ran that politely by the Smith’s mgr, and she was emphatically not amused….. she had a “story” fed to her by “corporate” she said, and she wasn’t interested in reason)
Last time I bought VGC at King Soopers, I got fuel points only for the $6 fee and my pack of gum. With the 4x promo do you get fuel points on the whole $500 card instead of the normal 0x?
No. You don’t get fuel points on the $500 card. You get fuel points only on the fixed value $25, $50, or $100 card, and only if you clip the digital coupon first.

Shows up in my Harris Teeter eVIC account online
I’m only seeing a VISA/MC card offer for $3 off the $50 card which mostly offsets the $4.95 fee. Not much value but at least it doesn’t expire until 11/24.
