Raise is really tricky, bordering on deceptive. When they offer nice promos like this, they reduce the “list price” discount of every card, so you don’t really save the full amount of the promo over the normal price. For example If a card usually sells at a 5% discount, they reduce the discount to 1% or 2%, plus the promo. I’m not complaining, just Caveat Emptor.

Raise does not set the price of the gift cards sold on it’s site. The price is set by the seller. It would take a coordinated effort by all of the sellers of any brand of card to go in and change the price …

Raise takes it’s cut of 15%. If they wanted to change the values of the discounts it could within that range and the seller wouldn’t be aware. Maybe I’m wrong?
