• The United Shopping Portal is offering a bonus miles promotion for February, not everybody is able to get this offer. It’s as follows:
  • Spend $175 and receive 500 bonus miles (extra 2.86x miles per dollar spent)
  • Spend $300 and receive 1,000 bonus miles (extra 3.33x miles per dollar spent)

The Fine Print

• Promo runs from 2/7/16 through 2/21/16 at 11:59:59 pm
• Returns, cancellations, shipping and handling, taxes, gift card or other cash equivalent purchases, and certain products are not included in the bonus award miles eligibility calculation
• Please allow 8-10 weeks for bonus award miles to post to your MileagePlus Shopping account

Our Verdict

This isn’t as good as previous portal bonuses (usually offering an extra 4x miles per dollar spent) but it’s still pretty good. I usually wait until they have an increased rate on a store I need to purchase at to hit the bonus (or just rack up some spend with eBay).
