You can try finding this in your online login or you can tweet: #AmexWFM from a connected Twitter account.

This one is only good for in-store purchases. You can buy gift cards in-store to lock in the discount for the rest of the year. (Reselling the gift cards won’t make a profit.)

$5 Off $10 at Petco

Direct Link

  • Spend $10 or more at Petco or petco.com with a registered Amex card and receive a $5 statement credit. Expires 12/9/15.

You can try finding this in your online login or you can tweet: #AmexPetco from a connected Twitter account.

This offer also includes gift card purchases, even online gift cards purchases. E-gift card purchases online will not work since they are processed by Cashstar.

The easiest way to lock in the discount here is to buy $10 physical gift cards, either in-store or online, and then you’ll have the 50% discount to use whenever. Of course, it’s a hassle to make so many small purchases and you’ll have to decide if it’s worth it.

Remember to go through a shopping portal for online purchases.

$10 Off $50 at JC Penny

Direct Link

  • Spend $50 or more at JC Penny or jcpenny.com with a registered Amex card and receive a $10 statement credit. Expires 12/31/15.

Does JCP sell 3rd party gift cards like amazon etc?

From what I recall from last year’s AMEX offer for JCP their gift card selection is pretty sparse – no Amazon and very few/if any gas cards. Mostly it was just the usual restaurant/fast food & other retailer cards that weren’t of much interest to anybody looking to resell GC’s… Worth a look if you’re nearby to see if anything has changed but I wouldn’t recommend a special trip.

Is anyone else having trouble loading Amex Sync offers to your Serve card? I’m getting the below message.

We could not add this Offer due to an error. Please try again.

Advance Auto Parts looks like the winner here, but if you click through to buy a gift card you get transferred to SVM, so I doubt it will work. Presumably buying a gift card in store would work well, but then of course you don’t get portal credit/cashback. I was going to use this to boost my spend for the UA portal bonus but doesn’t look workable.

Why is Advanced Auto Parts a very good deal? Do they sell 3rd party GCs? Thx.

Now I’m just going to say “This is funny”.
Sometimes we all get so focused on “The Deal” that we miss the true deal. I was thinking like you Chuck that 40% is great. I need some air filters and a few other things. Great timing.

As for Scott, he is thinking about what we usually do. How can I get free spend. Just shows how emerged/submerged we get in this game.

Funny you should mention air filters. I also need to replace a total of four filters for my family’s cars but when I compared the Advance Auto Parts with Amazon I ended up buying from the second. The cost was 100% higher at Advance, for one of the filters!

I checked GCW and WF is selling for 88% on CardBucks. Has anyone ever heard of this site?
