I applied this a.m. and got approved for 50k points with the link in the article. Later I called Citi and confirmed the offer. Thanks!!!

I made my husband an authorized user on my citi premier. I wanted to apply for one for him in his own name. Does anyone know if him being an authorized user counts as him having the card or will he still be eligible for the sign up bonus?

You guys are lucky. Citi must hate me (my credit score/income). I keep getting denied by them. They’re like the only major credit card company out there that I can’t get a card with, whether personal or business.

I still don’t see their logic in lowering the offer with Saph Preferred at an all time high….I would not be surprised to see it back up there a few times over the next year.

I am glad I got it in December. 50k TYP for the Premier then 50k TYP for the Citigold Checking — not to mention 2% cashback on funding the Citigold with 17k (or $340). Basically the whole Citi thing got me $1340 tax free.

This DoC site is pretty awesome, is all I can say.

I wouldn’t count your tax-free eggs on the TYP checking account bonus until they hatch.
Still a fantastic haul though. I did the 50k prestige, 50k AA citiGold, and $720 from funding (plus $400 since the funding met minimum spend for arrival bonus).
Good times.

2% funding — which CC did you use to fund, I’m guessing the Citi DoubleCash? that’s incredible that you got such a huge limit on that CC — unless you product changed/downgraded it from a previously held card.

You can check with Citi to see pre-approval offers.
I found the 50K points for the Premier there.

i don’t think this card is over-hyped considering there is no annual fee year 1. after min spend it’s almost enough for one way Singapore suites to Europe… so decent deal.

The lowering of the bonus was overhyped, not the card itself.
