We’ve noted that Plastiq has been earning double rewards with Amex under the 2x Small Business Promo.
Interestingly, Plastiq released a blog post today officially advertising this point.
It makes me a bit more confident that the promo will stick around. I’d guess Plastiq verified their credentials and are confident it will continue working until year’s end.
2x Membership Rewards alone isn’t bad for the 2.25% Amex processing fee, but it could be much better if you have to meet a spend bonus or if you other are getting another 1x with SPG under promotion or if you get 2.5x with Everyday Preferred. Etc. [Update: Two comments indicate that the 2x promo is not working with SPG for some reason.]
