Our Verdict
This works out to be a discount of 15% (plus your normal credit card rewards points), e-gift cards and physical gift cards are excluded online but can be purchased in store. Home Depot sells a bunch of third party gift cards, you can see a list of what cards Home Depot has had in the past here. Best cards for resell will be the gas ones (BP & Shell). Shell can be resold for 91% of face value, so you’d be making 6% profit plus whatever credit card rewards points you’d normally earn.
Not amazing, but well worth doing if you have this offer on a couple of cards (you’ll be making about $28 profit per card which includes the credit card points). No where near as good as some of the previous Home Depot offers, but still good none the less.
