The Offer
- Marriott is giving it’s members 1,000 bonus points if you tell them: How high (in feet) is the crossbar on an @NFL goal post?
Answer (10 feet) using a linked Twitter account with #RewardsPoints by 8pm EDT on 10/29 & score 1,000 points if you get it right. Your answer should look like this:
@MarriottRewards 10 Feet #RewardsPoints.

The Fine Print
- This is part of the 45,000 points you can get annually via social media
- Your Marriott and Twitter accounts need to be linked here.
- Valid 1:00 PM – 8:00 PM EDT Sunday 29th
Our Verdict
Nice and easy 1,000 free points every week. People always have issues each week so some tips:
- Make sure your Twitter & Marriott accounts are linked here
- If you don’t get a congrats tweet, sometimes the points will still post. Don’t panic, they can take some time to show
How long does the 1000 pts take to post?
So I’ve done this a few times now and just noticed my points have just been expiring a couple days later. I don’t currently have any other Marriott points. Is this normal? Do I need to flip some SPG over and back or something?
I always flip right away to SPG.
Nevermind, I figured it out by reading more carefully. LOL!
Got this PM although it is only 6 PM EDT? I guess it is not a reliable promotion, more like a hit or miss? “Sorry, this promotion has ended. Come back next Sunday from 1-8 p.m. EDT for another chance to score #RewardsPoints.”
I’ve gotten the same response before (Sorry, this promotion has ended…) but still gotten the points as well as a return tweet confirming my correct reply. Just seems like it’s a little buggy with the response.
How do they know what your membership number is? Also, how long does it take them to get back to you?
Because you have to link your Marriott accounts and Twitter.
thanks for the reminder
