The Fine Print

- Valid on eGift Card purchases of $75 or more only from IKEA-usa.com. Not valid on physical Gift Card purchases or in store Gift Card purchases.
- Offer will apply automatically at check-out if purchase qualifies.
- $15 eGift Card (“Bonus Card”) will be emailed automatically to the purchaser’s email address provided at check-out within 24-48 hours.
- LIMIT: $1,000 in eGift Cards/10 Bonus Cards per purchaser during offer period.
Our Verdict
The offer should show up at the Cashstar link directly when this goes live. For now it’s only visible on the Ikea website. Seems like the $15 bonus card is an ordinary non-expiring gift card, from what I can tell.
You can use up to 4 gift cards per checkout when paying online at Ikea.com. For this deal, I believe you can buy a single $750 digital Ikea gift card and get the max ten $15 bonus gift cards. (The $1,000 stated max seems to be an error.) This will make it easier to use up the multiple gift cards online.
Confirmed still working at 9:30ET on Dec 19th. Clicked direct link, entered $500, and 6x $15 bonus cards showed before I even completed checkout. Ironically while the bonus card links were sent out immediately (in separate emails for each), I’m still waiting for the purchased gift card to be sent.
Same, got the 13 $15 cards instantly, but still waiting on the 1k 8 hours later.
Can I use the e-gift cards in person?
Yes you just scan them at the checkout. They work both in store and online.

Sounds like user error. I’ve done this deal every single time they’ve had it, and have never had any issue redeeming gift cards.

No, these are processed by Cashstar.
Last time they jacked up the prices after the new year, so I would recommend using the gift cards before January if you’re planning on taking advantage of this.

Placed an order at 1:37 PM PT, got an email confirming it being processed, but then received an email at 1:59 PM PT:
We’re sorry. We were unable to process your eGift Card order from IKEA. Settled charges will be refunded to the original form of payment. Pending authorizations do not represent capture of funds and will expire according to the policies of the financial institution.
Not sure if it’s dead or I had a bad luck.
Orders are subject to verification, and for whatever reason, they declined yours. Deal is still working fine.
Despite the email, I started to receive the bonus gift cards at 4:16 PM PT. Weird but not bad.
