Kia has announced a new promotion where you can earn a $25 Visa Gift card when you test drive a car at one of their dealerships.

The Deal

  • Go to https://www.kiatestdriveoffer.com/ and fill out your information
  • Then click “print now”, “mobile e-mail” or “text me” that you need to present at your Kia dealership
  • Go to your nearest Kia dealership and complete a test drive of any car
  • Have the dealer fill in your paperwork

Fine Print

  • Deal valid from 31st of January until 31st of March, 2014
  • Must be 18 years or older and have a valid drivers license
  • Only one per household
  • All paperwork must be sent (and postmarked) by the 15th of April, 2014 to be eligible
  • All paperwork must contain an original dealer signature and unique Personal Priority Code
  • Valid only for the first 10,000 participants

Did the sales person forget to put in the dealer code?

Don’t worry, you can find this information out easily. Go to Kia “Find A Dealer”, enter your zip code, click the dealer you’re looking for, click “get a quote” and the resulting URL will have the dealer number. For example if you enter 90210 and click “Sherman Oaks” you’ll get the following URL: http://www.kia.com/us/en/forms/getaquote?dealer=CA230. Our Verdict

How good this deal will vary a lot by how close you are to a Kia dealership and how long the test drive and paperwork takes at that particular dealership. We were able to go into a dealership close by and get the paperwork done quickly, in total we spent around 30 minutes which made the deal worth it. If you are going to take advantage of this deal, do it soon before the 10,000 participants fills up.

Be up front about not wanting to purchase a car and save yourself some time.

Car sales people work on comission and as such they aren’t interesting in having you test drive cars (and waste their time) most of them will ask if you’re actually interested in purchasing a car.
