Creating a Safar family account isn’t exactly easy. You need to do the following:
- Download and fill out form
- Send a scanned copy of the form, along with supporting documentation (e.g your passport) to [email protected]
Our Verdict
5,000 miles is enough for a free one way flight within Morocco. View From The Wing is also reporting that these miles might be converted to Avios (or at least used on more airlines). Personally I’m too lazy to do this deal, I doubt I’ll ever actually use the miles and it seems like a pain to set the account up. Still, could be useful for some of you. Completed the terms, was signed up for the Family account, but never got the 5,000 miles. Emailed them twice last year and once today. I don’t expect to ever hear from them. Did anyone get the 5,000 miles credit?
Mine posted. I applied for a family account on 9/10/16 and received emails from them on 9/30/16. One of the emails contains a family account number (different from your individual account), and the other email contains PIN.
Was contemplating this until the part where you have to send a scanned copy of your passport to them through e-mail. Thanks but no thanks. 5000 of any freaking type of point is not worth the what can potentially happen to your info, in this day and age.
