Our Verdict
Should just be an instant $10 off, although in the past you sometimes needed to buy $10 in groceries to get the discount but I don’t think that’s the case this time. Don’t forget to use a card that earns at a high rate on grocery store purchases.

Worked for me with just buying the gift card without any other purchases. Coupon was valid for Visa and Mastercard. Fee at my store was $6.95.

Digital Coupon (for me) allowed mastercard or visa, although both have 5.95 fees, so there’s no financial difference if liquidating normally.
While at Publix, did a quick price check on random goods – still expensive as all heck lol

Amex had a deal for 5% back at grocery stores, YMMV per account.
I basically used the 5% for 3 items at Publix + 100 gift card so it looked ‘organic’
When I last checked, Amex paid 5% back , have not verified if there were any clawbacks. Personal experience is, either it goes through or it doesn’t. I’ve never churned to the extent where a clawback occurred, although data points around the web indicate Amex can and will do that………
I checked earlier today and Amex doesn’t have 5% back deal (unlike last month), so the publix GC is not worth it for me.
Tried it today and it doesn’t work with purchase of just the gift card alone. It does work with an additional purchase that brings total to over $100 after the $10 coupon discount.
I wonder if the fee would go towards the $110?
I visited 4 Publix in the last 2 days – no Visas or Mastercards available. Rainchecks are not given on coupon deals, I was told

So they’re doing this every 6 years now? Hats down!! Even Publix shows the huge population growth in FL. :/ They don’t offer gas cards anymore, their BOGO repeats the same 60-80 products all the time, etc. I wish we could go back 15-20 yrs.
they plan the bogos out a year in advance. they still have some good deals. their digital coupons have been pretty good
Digital coupon but for in-store purchase only? I don’t see anywhere to buy a giftcard on the site and this chain doesn’t have any locations in my part of the country.

Plus any earn % off a credit card in grocery category, might also be meeting min spend bonus. This is also limited to how many phone numbers you have.
