Notifications For Chase Offers Used

Reddit user linkin06 points out that you can add notifications whereby Chase will notify you when a Chase Offer is used. You can get the notification via email or a mobile notification in the app.

To get notifications go to the Chase Offers page and click ‘Update alert preferences’ at top-right. Then toggle through your cards and save it on each. (You can also find it in Profile > Manage Alerts.)

Hopefully the notifications will come quickly and cause less fretting about whether an offer will post. Please share your experiences if you’ve been using this feature.

Chuck Seems like they removed this feature from the web interface. It’s still there in the mobile interface (iOS at least) but I haven’t received a ‘You used one of your Chase Offers!’ alert since September 2023, and even then it was a coin flip as to whether you’d actually get them.

I still get emails almost always but they’re received right before credit and I usually see them redeemed days before.

I sometimes still get ‘Congrats! You’ve successfully redeemed one of your Chase Offers’ emails around the time I see the credit, but I no longer get the ‘You used one of your Chase Offers!’ alerts that you would get immediately after the purchase.

They are slack about removing used offers. My Office Depot one time use offer on 2 cards still shows activated even after redeeming. I fell for it once with no reward, now it’s there again tempting me. Same on 3 Citi cards at Sam’s. Citi CSRs didn’t even know what merchant offers are. Maybe better luck calling Chase

Had the same issue with Chase offers with CVS.

Chase notifications work great! It’s nice to get instant confirmation right after the offer is used.

Amex should take notes and make notifications for Amex offers too

Amex also has this feature. Maybe it does not work for every offer … ?

Jack should comment only when he knows what the flip he’s talking about instead of talking out of his ass. But he won’t because he’s like Jordan Professional MSer except he word vomits nonsense instead of expletives.

Just recently turned it on and got both an email and push when I redeemed an offer.

Any idea what “Primary” and “Push” options mean?

guessing push would be a push notification to your phone app, and primary would be primary contact email

Now if we could just get Citi to not bury their merchant offers beneath the dashboard, alert on redemption, and pay out in a timely fashion.

And not change terms in the middle of the offer period.

RiskandReward With Citi we would be lucky if the offer doesn’t vanish. Change terms sounds reasonable compared to that!
Now coming to the topic of chase notifications it was posted by ieatdogfood sometime back. Chase notifications by the way is not 100% reliable.
