[Expired] Amazon: $15 off $50 on Select Household Items (Tide Pods, Kleenex, Bounty, Ziploc & More)

Update 8/2/20: Deal is available again

The Offer

Direct link to offer (affiliate links in this post)

  • Amazon is offering $15 off $50 in select household item purchases.

Includes things like Tide Pods, Kleenex, Bounty paper towel, Clorox wipes, Ziploc bags, etc.

The Fine Print

  • Offer only applies to products sold by Amazon.com or Amazon Digital Services LLC (look for “sold by Amazon.com” or “sold by Amazon Digital Services LLC” on the product detail page). Products sold by third-party sellers or other Amazon entities will not qualify for this offer, even if “fulfilled by Amazon.com” or “Prime Eligible”.
  • Offer does not apply to digital content. Offer good while supplies last. Shipping charges and taxes may apply to the full value of discounted and free promotional items. Items must be purchased in a single order and shipped at the same speed to a single address. Amazon reserves the right to modify or cancel the offer at any time. Offer is non-transferable and may not be resold. Offer discount will be allocated proportionally among all promotional items in your order. If any of the products or content related to this offer are returned, your refund will equal the amount you paid for the product or content, subject to applicable refund policies. If you violate any of these terms, the offer will be invalid. Unless an Amazon Gift Card is the stated benefit of the promotion, promotional codes (including those placed directly in accounts) may not be redeemed for Amazon Gift Cards.

Our Verdict

Lots of everyday items at a nice discount here if you can meet the $50 threshold.

See also How to Stack Amazon Discount Deals With Subscribe&Save Discount (Plus, No Rush Shipping). Target has a similar offer, but Amazon is better since it’s a discount straight off the top versus a gift card.
Post history:
  • Update 3/6/20: Old link expired. Here’s a new link that’s working. Also worth noting that these $15-off-$50 type deals on Amazon don’t seem to have a limit, so you can do it over and over again in separate orders.
  • Update 2/26/20: Old link expired. Here’s a new link that’s working.

Saved on some otherwise senselessly expensive seventh generation detergent which the wife insists upon for reasons not entirely clear to me, Thanks DOC!

Chuck Expired again, but there’s a similar Proctor & Gamble offer at BJ’s. The offer is to spend $100 in a single purchase (2/20-3/11) and receive a $25 BJ’s gift card via rebate (https://www.bjs.com/search?visualVariant.nonvisualVariant.gbi_attributes.Awards=P%26G&source=SuperHero1).

For those in the northeast, Market Basket (MA, NH, ME) has a P&G rebate also. The offer is to spend $30 or more on select P&G products in a single purchase (2/23-3/7) and receive a $10 Market Basket gift card via rebate (https://www.shopmarketbasket.com/sites/default/files/2020-02/P%26G-Demoulas-Gift-Card-Program-Rebate-Form-2020.pdf).

Must be a small promotion window. Just clicked through the link and it says that it has ended.

Historically/roughly, how often do these promos come up? I stocked up on the similar promo last month; Kleenex and toilet paper don’t spoil but if this comes up every 6-8 weeks I can sit this one out.

Similar offer from Target also comes across often recently.
