I used this offer in the past and I didn’t get the discount, when I chatted with them they gave me all sorts of run-around telling me it only applies if you’ve never made a purchase on Amazon before, which is ridiculous and not what the terms say but hey… In the end I wasted about an hour getting the credit to my account. FYI

How does this work if I already purchased something with the app? It’s allowing me to add the coupon to my account
