Maximizing The Deal
- You can purchase multiples of each tablet, you don’t even need to make multiple purchases. You’re limited to 5 of each tablet, but interestingly the different colors all count as a different product (ht to MtM) so you can actually get:

- Add Amazon Elements Vitamins & get them for free (working even if you have used it before)
- Add Amazon snacks & get them for free (working even if you have used it before)
- Go through a portal, JetBlue is offering 3x on all Amazon purchases or you might be able to get 5% through Ibotta
- See if there are any other promotions you can stack
- When purchasing, mark them as a gift if you plan to give them away as otherwise they will be registered to your Amazon account (you can do this after you make your purchases via chat, so not a huge issue if you forget). Hat tip to Frequent Miler.

Ordered 25, wasn’t happy with the ROI on ebay, so put a listing on facebook marketplace and clist, made a killing. Sold the last today, so basically paid for Prime membership for a couple years.

Looks like this deal died at 9PM PST 9/16/17. ‘Twas a great deal. I got 31 tablets.
I’m still able to get the Amex Pay With Points discount on these tablets, but I’m not able to get the $15-off the Fire 7 or the $25-off the Fire HD 8. That kills the deal for me.

Why bother. In my case, I can just reorder as many times as I want in the same color. Did it three times for Fire HD 8.
Thought Vitamin and snacks are one-time only though.
And why is my last comment deleted? I merely suggested to either add an update section or just pin it to the top to avoid confusion.

It’s all good though; the other day I got a ‘spend 50 at Amazon, get 2000 membership points’ promo attached to my platinum card so this was good enough to get me halfway there. 🙂

the pre-registered thing is not exactly correct. If you buy them under your own name they shouldn’t ALL come pre-registered in your name. usually only the first one is. like you said it’s really easy to change…
They ALL came pre-registered for me but was easy to de-register.
