Always a good time to try something new when these subscription deals come up. Set up a reminder to cancel after the second charge posts if you don’t want to keep it. Your No Rush Shipping credit balance will automatically be used up to pay for any Prime Video subscriptions as well which can make this even a better deal.
After you sign up you can immediately go to your subscriptions and hit cancel You them get 4 options , one of which is telling it not to renew after the 2 months so you don’t have to remember to to that then
I don’t see an option to renew after 2 months in my account, only after the current month. I have four options:
1) Remind me 3 days before renewal
2) Turn off Auto renew and watch until Sept 27 2021
3) Cancel now and get a refund
4) Keep subscription
I think #2 is the closest but that only gives 1 month. I set a calendar reminder for September 28th to turn off auto renew at that point.
Been waiting for this on BritBox, thanks! Highly recommend the Up Series. I have seen 7-49 but was needing to catch up on 56 and 63 up. The latter was impossible to find on a US DVD or any streaming platform.

Tried/failed to subscribe to Britbox using Amazon giftcard balance.
Chat has no idea why it’s blocked.
I had the same issue, cannot use giftcard balance to pay for prime video & a few other services.
Chat was no help, but I think it has something to do with prime video being setup as a separate entity (prime video) for online subscriptions (charge is not listed as Amazon on my credit card charge, but earns 5% on prime card).
Note there are multiple places where giftcard must be set as default payment:
1. payments screen
2. Sub & Save screen
3. Prime Subscription screen
Even with these settings still does not work for me
What if you already pay through Amazon for one of those services?
Worked perfectly! I had a $1 digital video credit that I had no intention of using. I signed up for BritBox trial and now I have .01 in digital video credit.
FYI the signup promo expires August 29th based on the screen that came up for me.

PBS Masterpiece also has had a very good selection of international shows (mostly European I think) in original language. I think most are grouped as ‘Walter’s Choice).
