Our Verdict

You can pay for these with an Amazon gift card, your Amazon credit card at 6% rewards, or any other credit card. I don’t know if the 20% Amex discount will work on these.

If I recall from last year, the $10 Whole Foods prime day code worked on third party gift cards. At least I hope I recall correctly.

Yeah, that deal had me click and noticed it’s for $25, not $50.

Got my iTunes card this morning… code is completely illegible so I started the Apple Support process for an illegible redemption code… this should be fun.

Happened to me last year. Give it some time to activate after delivery. This is for theft protection I believe.

Bought Regal giftcards from Amazon. Used it once right after I got it. When I tried to use it again months later, the balance became zero.
I called Regal and then Amazon, and found out the money was taken back by Amazon because they thought the inactivity implied some kind of fraud. After a few phone calls with Amazon, they issued me an Amazon credit, half amount of what I had on the gift card, and told me that’s the best they could offer.
I think what Amazon did was a real fraud! I heard other people had the similar experience.
