Looks like the discount only applies to the first month. Personally I think the majority of these boxes are just a huge waste of money. Some of them look kind cool (e.g Bitsbox for kids) but most seem overpriced trash. Tea subscription looks like a decent value actually. $3 for four teas. Heck, even at the full $12/month price you’re at about the right price for sample sizes ordered individually.
1.5 oz of tea for $3 is a ripoff already… now to pay 11.99 for 1.5oz of tea you have to be fucking stupid.
I must have brain damage since I’ve paid more than $15 for 1.5oz of tea. Or maybe quality loose leaf tea shouldn’t be price compared to bulk lipton teabags…? And tap water drinkers must be the true geniuses saving so much money!
No comment on the actual quality of the tea for the box above—haven’t had it.
It’s samples of tea though? It’s to help you find really good teas that you will want to buy more of in a more normal fashion.
