There was an issue for many people who signed up for the Business Gold Rewards card back in November, right before the card got massively overhauled. Their signup bonus points never posted.
Today, five months later, numerous r/churning members (here and here) report seeing the signup bonus points pop up in their account.
I believe this posting issue is separate from the typical RAT team issues as those denials were intentional (though they’ve still been known to come back later and credit on occasion) while the BGR denials were an apparent glitch. Reader Walter let us know about the issue a while back, seems to have affected those who signed up on the final day before the overhaul – November 7, 2018.

50K points posted.initially denied the bonus.
Similar DP for me. When the reports of bonuses being posted a month back for those that complained I called to inquire. I was told I was denied for being a gamer and they had no explanations about why there was no letter, no initial pop up etc. The rep was pretty hostile and wanted me to close the card but kept it open as wanted to wait until annual fee to see whether the points post and not to have a card on record as being open for just a few months.
I never had an issue. Points posted about 3 days after meeting the threshold.
I’m so happy to see this happen, and just one week after my CFPB complaint got closed and I was told no (again). My points posted today as well!
Positive DP here – there was a previous round of this reported at some point, though I didn’t get mine then. Got all 50k of them today.
As background info, I’d called up Amex in Feb and was told that, even though I didn’t received the evil popup, I still wouldn’t get the bonus. I escalated to eventually someone fairly high up and was told “you’re not getting this bonus, and you probably won’t get bonuses moving forward”. Guess he was wrong 😉

some were 75k targeted, some were 50k public

That 75k offer isn’t still available by phone, is it? I wasn’t able to do it last fall because I was taking advantage of the 100k business platinum offer instead.
As far as I know it stopped being offered a long time ago unfortunately
